Boy With a Ball exists as a non-profit organization incorporated in the State of Texas in 2001.
FUNDADEJO, the Costa Rican arm of Boy With a Ball, was given governmental status as a non-profit organization in 2008. As Boy With a Ball continues to grow, other teams will certainly emerge as we spread across the world.
Each of these teams work toward the same mission of reaching young people and their families through aggressive outreach, drawing them into one-to-one mentoring relationships and small group communities and then using these relationships and communities as platforms for equipping them to turn and reach and develop others.
We are a part of a movement that develops youth, family and community that is transforming our world. However, the teams that work daily and diligently to carry out this amazing work, can't do it alone. They are completely dependent on the support of individuals, corporations, foundations and others across the world who walk with us by giving of themselves financially, by giving their time and professional skills and in many other ways.
These "investors" are as heroic as the actual teams walking through the streets and slums.
